For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 118 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 118 | Ive looked at old post but photos won't come up for me. Does anybody make patch panels for the side of the panel portion that meets the running boards? And also the piece (I'll call it the cargo corner) on the rear corners of the truck? Thanks, Brian. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | Rear corners are available from Jim Carter. They are made by http://www.oldgmctrucks.com/page0215.html.The side panel has a curvature that is supposedly matched by the outside skin of a standard 47-54 side door. | | | | | | ZooKeeper Unregistered | | ZooKeeper Unregistered | Here's the most recent update on his info...Joe Ray Stanley Wheelwright Restorations 92 Pine Street Wheelwright, MA 01904 1-413-477-6467 [email protected] | | | | | | ZooKeeper Unregistered | | ZooKeeper Unregistered | Also here's Ray's eBay store where you might (hint hint) find what you need...Joe | | | | | Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 118 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 118 | Thanks A LOT!!!!! Also the door skins do not work for this repair they do not reach around the curve enough to make the weld underneath | | |
