Two questions 1) first, which piece should be installed 1st the front or rear? 2) more importantly, I have forgotton which way the center strip goes. Looks like it could work either way, but I'm not sure if the front section slips into the "deepest" groove or does the rear? It apparantly will make a difference in that when properly installed, one section (front or rear) will be "top" (closest) to the cab of the truck, and the other will be "lower"....anyone follow?

However, I still have no idea which way to "turn" the center strip. Can someone go out and look at theirs and tell me if the back or front is tucked insidde of the "deepest" portion of the strip?

While you have it apart, you might consider installing some sound/heat proofing material.
