Hy ScottGMC40001964, thanks for posting that link, a bit pricey for me, but it is a "special" engine.

That's interesting.
They may be a source for some parts, pistons mainly, as well as the factory parts they remove in the process of "converting" them to high performance engines..
Most of the pieces parts prices sound fair to cheap from what I remember in searching for parts.
One thing is they say lifters are not available and used ones must be reconditioned. I thought I found some from another engine that simply interchange and are available, but forget the details now.

If I had found a good and reasonably priced source for pistons I probably would have kept the 702 I had..

I wonder how many they have sold thus far, guessing only a few if that many?

I read through the website, all of it, but I'm not sure what to think of what they offer, or the company? Some of it doesn't sound quite right to me, but hard to put a finger on what it is exactly? If you can even judge a product or a company from a website..

I always wondered if these engines could be modified like that. It just seemed too huge to be reving at high RPMs. They don't seem to give any details about the rotating assembly but I would assume that there are big changes there too.

What seems odd to me is the 'we reserve the right to refuse sales to anyone for any reason" statement. They seem to want to maintain a lot of control over the product even after they sell it. So are they for sale or aren't they? Or do they only want to thump their chest and tell the world what they have? I don't know but I agree with Grigg that something just doesn't seem right.

On the other hand since I'm not in the market I really don't care.

V12's didn't particularly interest me during the short time they were produced and still don't excite me. However, if I were to plunk down that kind of money I would hop on Southwest airlines, fly to Louisville and rent a car and take a look see at their operation and meet their people.

I have purchased parts from them. They are legit, and very nice to deal with. Sure, some things seem a little expensive but remember you can't just go down to O Reilly's and buy very many parts for a GMC V12.
