There was a 58 apache rat rod on Ebay a couple of weeks ago. The thing looks sweet!

I noticed that it has some cool taillights on it. Does anyone know where these taillights come from?

Go here to see the pics. It's the first two. The rest are my old PU.

All right, after some thinking I've decided to let the cat out of the bag. I was in a little shock to see that e-bay picture Rat Fink posted. I thought maybe, possible I would be the only person in this entire world with the Idea of putting those Tail lights on My fleetside (it's a stretch i know). But since somebody already has done it and I haven't yet installed mine cause I've been waiting to get all my body work done I will tell you..As long as everybody keeps it a secret cause I don't want a whole bunch Of fleets running around with these tail lights on.......drum roll... They are from a 1955 Oldsmobile 98...............Real Rat Fink you owe me one smile JOSH

AHhhh, the puzzle has been solved. Great job Jawdy. The cat is out of the bag and I'm gonna find me a pair for my fleetside! But I promise I won't tell anyone:)

The difference between the 1955-56 Olds is as follows- The 56 Model 88&89's have a completely different taillight style, bigger cone shape and the bottom marker light piece is gone. On the 1955 88 model the taillight is almost the same but I (THINK) its missing the 2 small chrome medallion pieces that are next to the cone, if you look at the picture Rat Fink posted you will see what I mean..hope that helps...............JOSH
