My exhaust header on my 53 3100 Bolt is starting to show some rust underneath the new paint from two years ago :-( Probably used the wrong stuff. So, instead of blasting them and repainting, I thought of getting them chromed or ceramicized. Does anyone have any experience with this--and what source to purchase? Also, would it be better to just get new ones? A little spendy though. Another solution is to get some manifold dressing from Eastwood. A little dab with a toothbrush once a year keeps the manifold looking like fresh cast iron. You can put it on over surface rust with no problem. | | |
