For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2009 Posts: 26 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: May 2009 Posts: 26 | Don't know if this is the right place for this...so move to the proper forum if it's not. Anyway here goes>> I've heard folks talk about AD "stainless" grilles. Is there really such a beast? What year did they come on? Any hope of finding one or are they as elusive as they sound? Also..I understand there were no chrome grilles in 1952. What color were the grilles painted? I've heard both silver and white? What color were the splash bars painted? Thanks for the help

These pages have a little information about grill colors. The information has been gleaned from various sites on the Internet (referenced at the bottom) and from various articles, manuals, and publications. The information is not necessarily correct.
