Tell them it comes to them ready to coat ( sandblasted or very well cleaned) and it will be cheaper. Also, if it's a color that they shoot frequently (like black) it will be cheaper. Anything I've ever had powdercoated has went in and I tell my guy its ready to go and just get it whenever they shoot the color next. I have 2 'coaters within 45 miles of me. One is at least 50% higher. maybe even more. One specializes in stuff for individuals doing cars and motorcycles. The other does industrial production run stuff. And he is much cheaper. | | |
