Looking at going with an electric cooling fan on the Grumman in an effort to gain a little power and a quieter cabin. Any ideas on where to mount a thermo switch, and what thermo switch to buy?

I do have a temperature gauge, but I would prefer to keep it operational.

Wow, I must be the first!

I'll be sure to chronicle the trials and tribulations of this historic modification through pictures and video to share with all boltkind as I boldly go where no shadetree mechanic has gone before!

The one that came with my fan kit is adjustable & has a prod that goes in the top of the radiator between the fins. I have it on my 70 stepside. It works great. I believe it is available separatly from either Speedway or Summit. Is there a photo of your Grumman on the Gallery? I used to specialize in step vans. Worked on hundreds of Grumman & Union City's.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

I sent in a Gallery write-up, I guess the folks are busy, I know I am on a board I help run! When it does go up, it should be listed under 1963 Heavy Trucks.
