For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 52 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 52 | A few months ago I did the T-5 conversion using info I gathered from this board and several other sources but for one reason or another, circumstances and conditions prevented me from really trying it out on the road. Well yesterday my good friend Chino and I were able to get it on the road, let me tell you what a big difference over the stock setup this T-5 makes. I was able to cruise along with everybody else on the freeway. I highly recommend the conversion. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 1,421 ODSS President | | ODSS President Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 1,421 | Good going Chato. Just make sure your brakes are in top condition.
Did you use a unit from an S-10? Can you post some pictures of the installation?

Thanks again. | | |
