There are Many options so, no one can say exact.

are you wanting a 4 door truck or 3 door or just an extended with no doors.

How long do you want to go?

I will say this. I have worked on projects like this.

What they did was a 4 door truck.

They picked up a panel or sub. truck that was a parts unit.

They used the roof section to fill the gap. and the doors and frames

Then They made there own filler panels and other needed items to make the frame.

We really need more details.

But, It is hard to figure it out for you. You will mostly learn by doing.

are you doing this on your own? What type of body work knowledge do you have?

This is not a project for a novice.

Let us know. They are great when done!

While we are on the topic of 4-door conversions, One time I was looking in the gallery and I saw a 4 door Advance design that looked soooo cool and looked like it came that way from the factory. I have not been able to find it since, or any other pictures of a 4-door since. I would love to find those pictures again. Anyone have any links or am I dreaming this thing up again?

I have this picture I am not sure where it came from but I think it took 2 additional doors for each side and two additional cabs to make. This one was the original motivation for the truck that I am building, though mine is not 4 doors.

That truck was at the Toys for Tots truck show in KC a couple of years back. Mongo "MIGHT" be able to find out who the owner so we can see how it was built...Joe

Can't remember the guy's name but I have pictures of the truck and somewhere I went through his album and took pictures of his pictures of the build. I fear they are on an external hard drive I have at home with a failed power supply. I'll see if I can track them down.

Ok, as promised I tracked down those pics. The fellow's name is Jay and he's from Kingsville, MO.
We see him every year at the truck show and he's a regular at our cruise night in Blue Springs. It's a truck that I've seen 100 times but I'm still drawn to it to marvel at the workmanship.
The first few pictures are from 2001 when I first saw it at the truck show. some later pictures follow and finally one night at the cruise night I got some shots of the build process in his fender album pure gold there!!
ENJOY!

That orange one belongs to Gary 'Pickle' Dilly if I remember right. He has a photo page somewhere but I couldn't find it quickly.
