I have a quick question... I'm doing a efi conversion on my 54 235 and need a spot for the coolant temp sensor. Ive already decided its going in the t-stat housing (like the vehicle the setup came from). The housing I have now only has 1 3/8" port which is being used by the intake for water heat. Now onto the question, finally....
Will a later t-stat housing for a gm inline 6 (or any other) bolt up to the head on my 235?
There is a truck like mine at the local yard that has a later inline in it (im thinking a 261, but not sure) that has a t-stat housing with two 3/8" ports. There are also a few 250's.
