Not sure where to post this but here goes...Bought an original radio for my TF from heavychevy.com Pictures he sent showed the original knobs, which is the main reason I bought it only to have it arrive with repros. Emailed with no response. Has anyone had a similar experience with them?

I have delt with HeavyChevy a couple of times. All I can say is you poor devil. I needed a U-joint the first time I was involved with HeavyChevy. I got the U-joint, but not the seal kit I ordered with the U-joint. After a number of phone calls with no answer, and several emails requesting either a refund or the kit I got a refund on my credit card. The second time I delt with them I made a rather large order (over $500) several weeks go by and no parts. Now I have been calling and emailing this yahoo from time to time to see the status of the order. I call 37 times and leave 20 plus emails with no response. The voice mail box is full all the time from what I suspect is calls about orders not recieved. Anyway I call my credit card company and put a hold on payment. I then call the company again, and got through to the vmail. I left a message telling him what I had done. Two days later here comes my order. Maybe coincidence, but I don't think so. Yeah I kept the order. It is easier to keep the parts that are hard to find, and sell the remainder.I know that if you need a part that you can't find anywhere else you do what you have to. However I urge everybody here on the Stovebolt not to support HeavyChevy.

I am glad it is just not me. It was November when I ordered a catalog from those people for 3 bucks on my credit card, and I recieved the catalog this past Friday? 2 months later. That made up my mind real quick, I would not do business with them.

Don't know what happened to the original owner of Heavy Chevy
but the guy did a real good job. I believe the guys name was Vern Sell. New owners seem to have it as a hobby. We ordered
six parts from them. They were slow in shipping and four of the
Items were not correct. Couldn't get in touch with them so I contacted my credit card company to have payment cancelled and
shiiped the whole mess back to them.

I had a two month long problem, cut to chase....don't buy from them, if you do, use a credit card so you will have someone to count on to get your money back. Their svc. is awful.
