old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 158 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 158 | I am trying to locate what this casting number fits on the bellhousing. I have looked and looked and need some help from an expert researcher on casting numbers.
It is 3733373 The original number should be 3738373 and it looks like 3738373 but sure it is a 3733373.
Anyone got a site I can find this number and what the heck it fits?

I am going to contact the chevy dealer this morning and ask them if they can tell me what it fits. I did read that same info in some coevette forums. It is a mystery. The previous owner of the truck swears it is original.

Maybe there was a problem with the casting change the 8 to 3 and the 1 to 7 and you get the 261. Larry
