How do you tell if the carb is at falt? It came with a cupple of old ones in the deal and how hard is it to rebuild them? Also how can you tell what type they are/ Its a 216 ci. and Its a honney. And whaddyer mean rough? Does it idle bad? Does it backfire? Is it hard to start? Do you have to pump the gas to get it to start? Does it run ok in the bottom end but back fire or hold back with a load or up a hill?
I have found a lot of running problems to be ignition ones. Best to do the standard plugs and points and set timing, then check the carb. | | |

Sprayed some card cleaner on chock and the rest of the parts that were sticking, seems the chock was very dirty from years of down time, with old gas also. Seams to be running ok right now, need to take it out for a shake down run and hope I don't have to walk back. Paul
