Started 1 year ago. Bought the cab which was resting on the ground with no doors or bed. The floor was badly rusted so I channeled the floor six inches and installed a dodge slant six with a 904 tranny, a ford 9 inch, and alot of welding and grinding. Had no brakes, so I added under floor dual power booster and cylinder, and front disc brakes.

Interesting combination, how does it run? Are you satisfied with it mechanically?

I always wanted a slant and an AD truck, bought the engine before the $50 cab and went to work. The truck runs great, takes a while to get to highway speed, but once there it does fine.
