What we would like to know is what are some reasonable prices we should be looking at?? This is what he needs right now, front axle, springs, spindles, front hubs with drums( 6 lug ) and a stock radiator. He might need a dash gauge cluster later on if his is not rebuildable if we find one great.
Thanks for any info you guys can give us.

It's kind of like a poker game. I like it best when the seller has price tags on his stuff. If not ask how much without looking anxious. Then negotiate from there. Some stand firm on there price but most will negotiate. They sit out there all day they want to sell stuff. I like to come in with an offer rather then ask what the bottom dollar is or will you take this much. Never ask "will this fit a ----." Chances are he will say it will. Ask what it will fit or what it came off of. Around here parts like that are hard to find at a meet, but you never know till you look. An ad in the swap meet section of this website can bring good results.

Somebody will be putting an IFS in their Deco truck one of these days and most likely will be wanting to sell the parts your looking for, cheap.

Some say its because scrap metal is worth more to the dealer than selling to a guy who is haggling over a price. If you find parts for your era truck I would suggest you grab them as long as the price is within reason. Anyone who threatens to scrap is blowing 6 month old smoke. Unless you really "need" some little item to finish a project, just be patient and you will find some bargains.
