I have just completed my T5 tranny swap and dont have ant idea about how to hook the speedo up on the tranny side. The only thing I can think of is different gauges but I dont want digital gauges. I need to know how to make a mechanical speedo work with a digital connect.

A company called jaguars that run (jtr) sell a motorized cable driver, with a controller for an insane $300.00-$400.00 bucks. Or for around two and a half c-notes you can buy an autometer elect. speedo (self adjusting), or You could maybe try fitting a mechical drive to the tail shaft housing ( difficult, not certain to be possible). Or you could install a tach, and with some math get a pretty good fix on your speed! Maybe there's other options as well?

I was under the impression that Jags that run, JTR publishing, and stealth conversions were all divisions of the Jags that run company. When you read their books they always say "we sell", and then at the end it says stealh conversions.

I have just finished my t-5 conversion also and ran into the same problem, Does your t-5 have the mecanical speedo pinion or the electrical. Mine has the mecanical, but my speedo cable is to short, and I dont know even if it reached the trany would it thread onto the speedometer pinion anyway. And I'm kind of reluctant to get under the dash and undo it from the speedometer head side, more lazy than reluctant. has anybody run into this and came up with a solution, longer cable maybe.

Chato, you can get a speedo cable extension if you are lazy, or simply get a longer cable made up.
