The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop tail light bracket color... help!

Going to paint the new Mar-K bed tomorrow. Do the tail light brackets get painted body color or should they be black? I'm going for originality. I bought new ones and it appears they are powdercoated, so I'm thinking about leaving them black. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I do beleive black is the correct color for those, or atl leaast the original one's on the '55s were.
Off the topic, I see you're from Indiana. How close to Indianapolis are you? If you're resonably close, there's an indoor swap meet at the State Fairgrounds this Sunday, Harmon's will be there, as well as several other vendors that deal in pre-'72 Chevy and GMC truck parts. Yeah Bill, I'm about 60 miles west of Indy, just east of Terre Haute. I've been told that swap meet is on the 30th though. I've been there before, been awhile though. I was planning on going but I'll be working too-power plant shut-down... can't miss double time on Sundays! Thanks for the info!

my 62 brackets are body color. now you got me questioning if that is correct, more research required
