Ok this is what I got. I have a 51 chevy 1/2 ton with a 235 swap and a 12v conversion done by previous owner. The engine runs pretty good BUT as I was checking everything out, I touched the ballast resistor on the firewall coming from the coil.And Dang! was it HOT!
