I have always used a gasket (double coated with compound) but now see these "gasket-less" compounds on the rack at the local auto supply. Any advice welcome.

And we put many a midget back togeather using #2 and it's never failed us yet.
I probably should have used Permatex Copper Spray-A-Gasket on the head when I put it back together. But still should have RE-TORQUED IT!!!!
