Im looking for just the pedal assembly without the booster & master cylinder. Something that just bolts in.
Thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 1,026 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 1,026 |

Its currently unavailable, but hopefully that just means its out of stock and not discontinued.
thanks!
Has anyone used this mount? What booster and master cylinder did you use (year, make, model and so on) | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Now this is what "networking" is all about. I like seeing some of the "little guys" come in here. We pay through the nose with the markup some vendors have on stuff when the same thing is available at a better cost and many times made right her in out back yard..... AND this place is only about an hour drive for me right up I-26 so maybe a senic trip up the mountain to see the fall colors is in place for me and the wifey. I can buy the gas with the savings on shipping!!
Thanks mobileortho.
Now, wonder if they make an under the floor assembly? I guess a phone call is in order on that!

I've used The MP Brakes on my '50 and it's straight bolt-on. I paid $269 about two years ago! So for $199 Alvin, I would go for it and enjoy the drive!! Jock.

| | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 610 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 610 | I still need to find out what booster and master cylinder I can use from a mid 80's to early 2000's production vehicle with the pirate jack assembly. This way I can just buy the pedal assembly and pay like $30 at the local auto salvage yard for sometimes a practically new booster & master cylinder.
Also does anyone know what the master cylinder is set-up for on the pirate jack assembly/kit (ie, drum/drum, disc/drum, disc/disc). I emailed them, im just waiting for a response. | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Hey guys, I went ahead and called Pirate Jack this afternoon to check on a chassis set up for my panel. After looking at their site I found the bracket for mounting stuff to the chassis but called them anyway. I talked to a lady named Tammy who seemed to know her stuff and also informed me that she had just installed a booster/mc on HER truck without her husbands help! Well, seems I can get the eet up, including the chassis brackets for $200. Seperately, because of the bracket it would be $248 but as an assembly it would be $200. This includes the brakets, the booster, master cyl. and also the pedal assembly.
Like Chris, if I knew what master cyl and booster to get I would just buy the bracket. I work part time at a parts house and can get 20% discount but in the end it looks about the same.
I told her to put my name down and call me when they got more stock in. There were out right now but she said they should be stocked back up no later than the middle of November.
As I mentioned above, since they are just up the road from me I may just drive up and look at it first hand....and pick it up!
EDIT: keep in mine I'm talking about the assembly that puts all the stuff under the floorboard. I like my firewall clean if at all possible. This is what I did on the 37 and I've had many positive comments about it.

I won't be at home till Fri. Reading your last post I'll tell you what I did first. I used the MC/booster and pedal assembly from a 75-79 Granada and the proporitioning valve from a late 80's Chevy 1/2T all from the salvage yard. The booster is a small 9" and you'll have to trim the pedal brackets to fit under the dash they have a large amount of extra mass to them. It workd fine with no problems till I decided to dress things up and changed it all out.
