OK heres the poop...X-Mas is fast approaching an the wife asked me this?
well Hun have you decided on wheels for the truck yet?.....so guess what she wants to get me...:-)
I'm runnin 8" fronts an 10" rears currently an like the stance ..but the current wheels have been curbed a zillion times ..as the P.O. my uncle in Texas tells me .."WELL THEM WAS THE JACK DANIELS DAYS REMEMBER" LOL
So here it is take a look in my photobucket an HELP ME PLEASE!
Ive narrowed my personal choice down to 2...either Chrome Smoothies or Keystone Classics.
Now I think the Chrome Smoothies would fit the truck as it is old an new school and I can get 10" smoothies for the rear..OR my personal favorite since I was a teenager were Keystone Classics and I can get the width I need in those also.
ANY advise ..or someone with that what looks "COOL" eye ...would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Tim

If I were to change from what I'm using, chrome and baby moons would be the only replacement.

just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

I used Wheel Vintiques steel "Hot Rod Rallye" wheels with baby moon caps. Not original, but they don't look out of place.

Tim, "everyone" has smoothies.....all chrome ect...I would go for the Keystone. I think they'll look good on the CASPER.

I love the Keystone Classic's, liked them better than Cragars. Good news is you can't go wrong either way.

My $0.02, your mileage may vary.

Hi Tim, I'm suprised, you got 10" wheels on the rear. I've never managed to check but someone told me 8 1/2" was the widest I could go?
This opens up a whole new world of wheels for me!

Anyway, back to your question... It's your truck so the final decision is yours but I DO like the Keystone Classic's.

What ever you decide it's a brilliant Christmas present!!

My favorite wheel of all time is the Crager SS.However on my 55 I put on Chrome Corvette Ralley wheels. They suit me just fine.A few years back I bought a set of Crager SS wheels for it,but instead of putting them on the truck I put them on a streetrod 56 2 dr.that I had at the time.I am using 7 inch on the front and 8 inch on the rear, all 15 inchers. When all is said and done it is what wheel appeals the most to you.I live about 80 miles from Summit Speed Shop, where they have just about any kind of wheel available.

I've always been partial to the old school slotted mags but I think these would look cool too.

When putting on wheels, its a matter of personal preferance. I took a set of smoothies off of my 55 and installed the Chrome Corvette Ralleys, cause I like them better. The smoothies are stored away in the upstairs of my shop.Someday someone will come along looking for a set and I will sell them.

Cragers SS was always my favorite but I think same color steel rims with chrome trim rings and baby moons look great.
