Is there a website to "decode" VINs? I've got two that I'm interested right now. The first I know is a 1961, but I want to check the GVW rating. And the other is an "Art Deco" ('41 - '46), but I'm not sure of the exact year or the rating.

Is there anyway to look up what the truck had when it left the factory by the VIN? I'm thinking color scheme, factory options, etc..?

Thanks,
Husker

Where are the VIN on a '64-65?
I have the one on my 64 in the door faceing.
Is it anywhere else?
It is not there on the 65. :dunno:
I have the VIN's on the titles.
The 64 was my grandfathers, but I just got the 65 and so i'm not sure its 100% original.
Thanks
