Has anyone evr installed EFI on a 250ci inline 6 ? I would love to do this, I have a 1977 250ci in my '57 Suburban, the carb needs a rebuild anyway and I like the reliability and smoothness of operation of EFI. Some people have apparently done it with a GM throttle body and computer, it would be nice to keep it all GM (in particular for maintenance).

'57 Chevy Suburban; '70 Chevy Impala.

it has been done. i read a thread on it a couple of years back on the inliners int. website. it had pictures and lots of info. i think the member was revod i think. best i remember he did it to basicly a stock 250. hr

That would be very cool. Given that the I-6 is a very smooth running engine, I would imagine EFI would only make it better. I can imagine maybe using the stock TBI setup from a 2.5L iron duke engine or something like that...
