on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 13 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 13 | i need new brake shoes all-around, but there is some confusion as to what shoes I need for the rear drums. The truck has the Eaton HO52 rear axle, non-demountable drums. As in, the axle and hub have to come off before the drum can be unbolted from the inner surface of the hub. I would like to know which size shoes I'll need so I can have them before tearing into the rear-end since this is my daily driver and don't want to be waiting for parts. Some catalogs list the same shoes front and rear, others show several different measurements.
Thanks in advance for any help.

My Napa shows B248. At 11 5/32X2 3/4. Both front & rear. It possibly could have 12x 2 brakes & use B310. Most brands use the same number system except for the prefix. Any parts store should be able get them in short time. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | |
