I just bought a used long/fleetside bed off of a '63 K20. The frame on the K20 is 32" wide. My '62 C20 has a 40" frame. I know it's any easy fix if I buy some new frame sills. Just looking for any more input from you guys. Thanks

i am looking for the bed sills for a 4 wheel drive frame truck i have sills for a 2 wheel drive truck i could trade you the ones ihave dont line up with holes in the frame of my truck iam assuming the sills were different from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive frames

Thanks Joe, I'm probably going to buy new ones. If thats the only difference is that the frame from a 4X4 is more narrow. If you want to pay the shipping i'll give you the old ones.

The difference between frames is due to the year difference. 60-62 had a wider frame than 63-66. That affects not only the center cross sills but also the rear sill as the mounting brackets on the rear will will not line up with the frame rails. Of course the wood bed to frame holes will not line up either. The wood boards are the same width for both series, but the mounting holes are placed differently for the two types of frames.

Otherwise the beds are about the same. The swap should not be too much trouble, especially with new sills and new wood.
