I found a place here in Rapid City that will re-arch them for about $60 each. I located some dimensions and specifications in my salesmans data book but I don't know if they need more information than that. Anybody had springs done before? What all info do they need? The guy told me he had nothing in his books back that far.

I have had several sets re-arched. I didn't provide them with any info that I recall...maybe the year and make of the truck! These were local blacksmith/spring shops. They knew what to do just by looking at the size of the springs as I recall.

I told him I wanted them back to factory specs. Thats when he told me he didn't have the specs.

If it were me, I would be looking to set them so that the drag link is horizontal when they are finished. That is the best possible outcome for proper steering operation. Just measure where your truck sits now and compare that to the assembly manual measurements or maybe measure a stock height truck. If you tell them the springs need 2 1/2" of lift, that's exactly what you'll get. Gave me a 7" lift over the old stock ones. They are 1 3/4" wide just like the original springs.
