Well this week I started the ground-up restoration of my '53 3100 w/261 4spd... I'm looking at making it like a restorod, dropped a little, front discs on stock susp., warmed-over 261, T-5, and 3.55 rear. Any suggestions on the 261? I know I want dual intake and Fentons and I want it to have manners, not a lumpy idle...

The Fentons and some extra carburetion is good,a mild cam will give still more.But the pipes and more carb will make it more responsive for driving
