I have a 54 and the theme of my build in mild 50s/early 60s custom. For you old timers, were roll pans ever used during this era? I am not sure I want to run a rear bumper. I am thinking about a custom roll pan with frenched 1950 Pontiac tail lights and a let-in license plate.

Any ideas on this?

Lonnie.. I'm not entirely sure if roll pans were correct for this era. My buddy runs a '52' with this set-up (sorry no pics!)
It does look good though! thumbs_up
He's got '50'Poncho lites with blue dots mounted close to the outside edge, recessed license plate and his dual exhaust exits through it too!
Only snag is... after a long run the exhausts protrude about 1"
due to the exhaust expanding with the heat!
If it's what you want I would 'go for it' it's your truck after all!
I've looked at the pics of Jim and Carolines truck and it's a really neat job.I hope they don't mind if I copy it! wink
Good luck
Jock grin
