I would like to put Visors in the interior but I can't figure how they are screwed in to the roof?

what are you screwing into. Is there something in the corners beside roof sheet metal?

Is your cardboard roof panel already in place?

TPB, if you pull the window garnish, you will be able to pull the headline down enough to see the mounting brackets. The brackets are pieces that are welded to the cab roof. They hang down maybe 2 inches. There should be a 1/2 inch hole in the center, with three holes around it. The spring end of the visor support fits in the center hole with the support screws going in the remaining holes. I hope this helps. I cannot stress enough get an assembly manual and a shop manual. I also like Motors manuals. They are a wealth of info and have tons of pictures. Without those three I would be lost on my project.

I've got my 52 Panel stripped out inside and like JimmieD says if you pull back the moulding you will see the little "bracket" like plate up in the corner. I am not sure but on mine I believe it can be done without taking the windshield molding off.
The Previous owner took care of all that for me.

You can take the visor and just about tell where the attaching end will fit by holding it up. Since mine is stripped out I can see the holes where the screws go into it.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Thank you and I have already ordered both and they are on the way. I just want to say thank you to everyone for help along the way. It is so much fun for me to tinker around with my truck.

TPB,

You might already have a technique for locating where to make holes in the cardboard, by making a template or other measurements. Here is a technique that works well with both the interior sunvisors or door armrests (if you do not have a template):

Obtain six 1" screws that fit the sun visor holes in the roof. Cut the tops off the screws, ground a rounded point on the top of each screw, and cut (with a Dremel Tool) a slot in the top of each screw (a screw driver slot).

Then, screw them into the mounting holes, allowing them to sit "proud" (outwards) for about 1/4". The headliner is then dry-fitted into place and pressed against the screw heads. After removing the headliner, it is an easy matter of drilling the three holes on each side and placing a larger hole between the screw holes. This technique has worked fine for me (and, I have gotten three uses out of that set of "fitting" screws).

Tim
