My 53 3100 chevy has a bent tie rod so I ordered one from CD that want fit my tie rod ends. CD says there is only one. I already knew that & I thought they are 3/4" but CDs tech said they are 13/16". Now a diferent supplier thinks they are pipe but thats only on big trucks right? Rod = .750
Threads = .788
13/16 = .8125
The threads are noticably larger in diameter than the rod. The threads appear to be cut and not rolled.
I am not sure why the ancients did this, it makes no sense to me.
