Has anyone drilled/tapped the cap or cylinder (corvette) to accomplish this or am I forced to spend $119 for their remote kit? Any other options outside of installing a trap door in the floor board and removing my seat every time i want to check my fluid level. This is a '59 with disc/drums. I know there must be alot of these upgrades installed in our trucks so what's the solution?

Is it a single, or dual reservoir?

Because I'm changing the interior so much I don't want the trap door visible. So putting remote out on front firewall. Every thing I read it is pretty easy just a little plumbing. Yes I'm going with the Kit. Keep us posted, very interested in what you do. Ben

Look over the pictures and descriptions. The Corvette mc would be IMO a little difficult to convert since the diaphragm is inside the lid. That is intended to seal the brake fluid from air and moisture. It should not be too hard to find out what mc CPP is using for the remote setup and then to find one. It seems like a really good idea that could be cloned for a little less $$.  | | |

Stainless Steel Brake Corp offers the corvette MC with a trick modified cap but it's expensive as it's aluminum/billet.
