I'm putting my 235 back together and of course spent more than originally intended. I can't afford a alternator at this time so I plan to run my generator as it's in great shape. Will the generator produce enough amps with a HEI distributor and A/C?

Yes, assuming the generator is 12 volts. The AC only needs enough juice to run the fan and some relays. It just won't handle a big radio or lots of lights.

Thanks. It is a 12 volt system, I'll only be running a CD player, no external amp, and stock lights.
