I was wondering if body panels such as fenders, doors and hood are the same as a c10. If so what year c10s are the same? | | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | anything cab related is the same for all models, fenders are completely different, hoods would be the same as long as your C50 isn't an LCF (low cab forward) cause if it is the hood would be shorter then a hood off a C10 and for which years would be the same it would be 64-66, 60-63 is basicly same truck just those cabs have wrap around windsheilds and doors are different Nate | | | | Joined: May 2008 Posts: 3 New Guy | New Guy Joined: May 2008 Posts: 3 | how do i find out if my c50 is a lcf? | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,276 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,276 | You would know if it was a LCF (low cab forward) the front end on a LCF the cab sits much higher and the front is short and stubby it was kind of half COE (cab over engine) half conventional. Or maybe like a modern day big truck with a big time set back front axel. | | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 254 | judging by what i have seen in pictures if its an LCF the bottom of the cab (right below the door) would be roughly level with the top of the front tire and like HevyHauler said its part COE so the engine would be kinda under the floor Nate | | |
