Hey all, whats happenin......I am the proud new owner of a 61 Apache 10 Panel Van. Get this......the truck sat dormant since 91. It was a former fire dept vehicle. 23347 Original Miles!!!!!! So, I go out and buy an ignition and ignition switch, a new coil, a new ignition resistor, and a radiator cap. Installed a new battery and turned the key. It started and ran like a champ. Brakes are shot but the clutch is still good. Tossed in some brake fluid and bingo, I could drive it! I am shocked but they really do not build them like this anymore. It has the 235 flat six in it. Don't get me wrong, it needs some work. Primarily rust work and brake work and some cosmetics. I am looking for a set of Ralley Wheels for it. Any input? OR advice on what I should look out for? I am a newbie to the vintage Chevy world so any help would be appreciated. I will post some pics as soon as I figure it out. Thanks in advance.
