on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 220 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 220 | I have a 1970 steering column that I am putting in my 64. It came from the yard with a black wheel and my interior is light blue. Looking at the catalogs they want $250 to $300 dollars for a reproduction wheel. No way I am paying that. Considering that the current wheel is black , I'm not sure that I can spray dyes on my existing wheel to make it blue. And even then would the color match. So my question is this; Is the diameter of the 67-68 steering wheels the same as those on the 69-72. If so I am thinking that I can get one of these used, repair and paint to match. Thoughts | | |
