Question for you all. Are the running boards from a 1940 chevy compatable with a 41-46 chevy. Mainly, will they bolt up to the front fenders of the 41-46. I have a picture of the 1940 pickup running boards and they look like the rusty remnants of my 41's boards.

They are different. Although they look exactly alike, the '40 runningboards are 1 1/2" shorter than '41-'46 runningboards.
