good morning all i.m puzzled about the routing of the lines on my 3800.there is a fitting on back of master that splits the line to left front wheel and across the crossmemberto the rt side frame tee.then backto the rear axleflex hose and foward to the rt wheel.is this correct? because on my parts truck its not teed at the back of the master its teed at the rt front wheel and goes across the front member to the lt wheel. eek this sounds cobbled but i,d just like to check. you know why go across to the rt and then cross again back to the left. thanks for any/all replies steve sr. smile

My 51 1 Ton is like your parts truck. I have read about other AD trucks being plumbed like your main truck.

truckernix thanks for the reply the parts truck is a 50 1ton and it had replacement lines, whereas the 52 was all orig except for the line to the rear axle. all preformed and bentlike the factory still even had the old 1/4 20 clutch heads holding the line clips.the prev owner had just wiretied a new line next to the one along the frame rail, so i,ve got the old ones as patterns.just wanted to get an idea what was right for the lf wheel. smile cheers and have a happy and safe Memorial Day, steve sr

Steve, the factory assembly manual shows the routing you describe for your '52 for the 3100 thru 4100 series. The 4400, 6000 series, and the 3742 and 3942 forward control chassis have the other routing you describe on your parts truck. That's what "should" be original, but who knows--your parts truck could be cobbled as you say, or different factories may have done it different ways.
