So I have slight idea of how to do it, but what year do I get them from to maintain my 6 bolt rims. Also I wonder if I have to replace my (new)single resevoir master cylinder to two resevoirs. Also any info on the MC will be greatly appreciated.I've looked through 76 pages of this forum and couldn't find anything, hmmm mabey it was on the 77th page.

You only need to change the spindles out on both sides. Up until recently the using 71-72 or 73-87 spindles and disc brake parts were the best option but left you with 5 lug rotors. You could have your new rotors and bearing hubs redrilled for 6 lugs. I know this option works very well from seeing it done many times on the 60-66 Chevy and GMC email lists.
But more recently I have heard of using spindles and rotors from a 1990's light duty 3/4 ton would get you 6 lug. But I dont have any more info on that right now... Not sure if it works or what parts that it takes.

You can also have the rear axle you currently have drilled out to 5 lug cheaper and easier than anything else. Personally I would use the 73-87 spindles, rotors, bearing hubs, backing plates ect and run 5 lug rims. Parts are cheap and easy to find and the 5 lug rims can be picked up from the donor truck that you get the front brake parts from.

Also since my total tire height is 25inches Im gonna need to change the rearend to a 3.73, since i have 4.11 and a SM465.So this will be a nice upgrade too. I will email you with pics of what I have.

I think they have reviews on the web site. Supposed to be 40% more friction than the standard brake shoes. Pricey. I popped for them and just got the brakes set up (all new system) yesterday and will be a couple of weeks before I can road test. Then I will let everyone know how well they work. (I only got fronts - dunno if I am changing the whole rear, or just gears, as its a 5.26 ration now!)
