Will the pilot bushing for the 61 235 fit the shaft on the 48 tranny. How tight should the tranny shaft be in the pilot bushing and what is the best way to remove the old pilot bushing. Is there a needle bearing pilot bushing that would work. :confused:

The grease forces the bushing out when compressed by rod.  | | |

Got the idea form a tool guy at Home Depot and used a wooden dowel to drive the Play Dough. The pilot bushing remover I rented from Auto Zone didn't fit. | | |
