My 55.2 has a good-running 235 that I'm thinking about tweaking a bit. Since i use this as a truck, I'm going for torque, hp is a side benefit. The small carb and ports should make for good velocity, which is great. I'm thinking of swapping out the cam with something with more lift and yet short duration and shaving the head for more compression, as well as adding a good header.
Thoughts?
I don't want to do a V8 swap, I did that to my 57 and it was just like everybody else. This one is going to remain true to the original intent.
