Alright I have a 1946 Chevrolet pickup 3100 series. I am going all original with the paint, interior and exterior. What is the original color for my 216 and what is the match for this. I'm told blue/grey but what is the name of it and how do I match it wink ? Also any engine accessory colors will help. Like the generator color, the carburator color, air cleaner and it has a fram oil filter which I know is orange.

If it doesn't have a bowtie it's just an imitation.

You will want to bookmark Whitney Haist\'s website. Click on the Specs link, and you'll see all the colors that were offered for your truck.

Baldeagle, if you contact Chevy, they will send you a free package of original factory specs on everything from dimensions to paint. Also included is a list of suppliers. A lot of great information.
