I finally installed the dual point distributor I had laying around. It is a replacement breaker plate that moves the condensor outside the case and uses the same points as the Corvette. It starts and idles a lot smoother. I'm getting 38 degrees of dwell with it, making the spark a lot harder. My darn carb started leaking again, though, so I need to fix it before I check the gas milage.

Aloha! Josiah, can you provide a part number or anything on that breaker plate? A guy in my neighborhood has drawers FULL of those dual point breaker plates but doesn't have an application chart, so finding the right one means going thru them and matching it up, not fun, theres hundreds!! And only a few mention what they fit on the box.

Thanks.

I'll look when I get a chance. It has Dyna-Flite stamped on it. I have the original box someplace and it says the applications on it.
