what would a 1951 2 door burb with barn doors in the rear,has all the seats except the rear one,body is in fair condition and is in very good running condition,has the 3 on a tree shifter,all the origial wheels and hubcaps,all the glass is there and in good shape,it does have some rust but 90% of it is surface,without pictures what would you say it is worth,oh yes it shifts and drives but is not tagged..bob..209-532-8935,i live in sonora,ca,95370

The old car price guide would help you price it. Last time I looked a really nice near perfect Suburban was about $20,000. They have gone for more at Barret Jackson, but most sell for far less than that figure.

Based on your description I'd expect single digit thousands, but without good pictures and an inspection, its just not possible to say.

i have some pictures of the 1951 burb after the body work was competed and the outside painted i just have not gotten the trim and bumpers put on yet.and now iam not sure how to send the pictures???HMM

How much are you asking for it? I saw it on craigslist with no price. Did you do your own body work? Last time saw it you had just brought her home, it sure looks different now! would like to see the pictures.

i asked something like this about 2 weeks ago on a 49 burb
turns out to be $900.00 and was 90% complete ... it just needed a home and lots of work. she has very little rust.

when i got this 1951 burb with the barn doors it needed alot of work,except for the 228 cu in engine which is a perfect engine,it runs very good,starts on the first try,holds the very best oil pressure and had very little rust,since i got the burb i have put alot of time and money into it,all the body has been done and now the burb is painted inside and outside with basecoat,clearcoat,new master brake clyinder,all new wheel clyinders,all new brakes,all new tires,new window rubbers in the barndoors,new GMC decals on the hood,all that left to make this burb and finished panel is to redo the interior,i will try and get some pictures but not sure if i know how to post them here,althou if you want some pictures you can e-mail me [email protected] i would be happy to get them to you,the burb can also be seen at sonora,ca,95370..would like to get $14K for the burb,and that is a good price for all i have invested in it..bob....209-532-8935
