This is my 1965 C20 wheel as it currently sits.
Wheel

Here ids a pic of one of the hubcaps I bought online that were supposedly for the truck.

hubcaps

Unfortunately, the caps don't fit. DO I have incorrect wheels or incorrect hubcaps?
Is the dogdish style cap in the first picture the correct style that I ought to be looking for?

Can you ID those hubcaps if they're not for a 65 C20?

I'm inclined to say both. The rims look to be 15" Widowmaker split rims, not sure about the caps, not stock to a '65 for sure, maybe late '40s? The caps shown in the second pic are for a '78-'87 Chevy 1/2 ton.

Would those rims (if I could find some) fit on a 65 C20?

If they come off of a 4x4, yes. The 2wd uses a 5 lug pattern.

Oops, I thought your post said C 10. 3/4 ton will be 8 lug either way, so it won't matter. My bad on that. The 4x4 1/2 tons have 6 lug wheels instead of 5 lug that's used on the 2wds.

So, do you think 3/4 ton wheels in the 78-87 range would fit? Are most 8-lug GM patterns the same?

Yes. GM has used the same 8x 6 1/2 bolt pattern on 3/4 and 1 tons (exept for some light duty 3/4 tons and extra heavy duty 1 tons) since '47. However, after '88 (91 on some models), 4x4 models use a different backspace, and are not compatible with the earlier trucks. 2wd changed to the same backspace as the 4x4 after '99 on 1/2 tons, 2000 on 3/4 and 1 ton.

The wheel and hub cap pictured together look like the early to mid 50's, the hub cap pictured by itself was an option that started on the early 70's half ton's, or at least my 72 came with them in 73.

hup cap is AD 55 first and back, wheel is split rim more than likely same time frame. 3/4 and 1 ton are eight lug. Most tire shops won't work on the rims any more. I had to have a farm implement dealer do mine. I took mine off last year. they just made me nervious.

Dan gallagher is right on the early hubcaps. You can see 'em in my gallery pic at the link below.

I think that the hubcap you have pictured by itself is 76-80 Chevrolet G series van and also c series pick-ups. I think that a cap very similar was used before this but instead of the off yellow trim and bowtie they used blue on the trim and bowtie. Don
