i have a 51 chevy pickup and im about to buy a 4 inch dropped front axel, does anyone know if the steering controls will still hook up the same and will the drag link (the long bar conecting the tie rod ends) still be the same height as the axel? i was thinking this because dropping the axel will make the wheels sit higher, and i dont know if i will have to extend the pitman arm or any other steering component. someone told me that you just have to flip the arm that connects to the tie rods and it will work, is that true??
