I had the engine rebuilt and have driven it from Florida to Virginia where I now live and I drive it to work in Arkansas. This I have done 3 times, 1500 miles round trip with no problems. Question is the gas mileage? I only get about 11 mpg at around 62 mph. What can I do to improve the gas mileage? Thanks in advance. Pilot | | |

You won't need to do any work to the driveline. Here is a site that will show you exactly what you are going to be looking for at your next swap meet. (I found one at a garage sale for $20 and am putting it in my wifes 55 1st. Borg Warner Overdrive
