Can't seem to find out any engine that fits this number. Reward offered for correct ID..... Should be a 261 or 235 . You guys are smart which one....
The number on starter side front is 5845363
THe head number is 3836149...

How's this.....Block#5845363 1954 Chevy 235 cu in. http://www.inliners.org/becks/BCN2.html I can't find a number on the head. Hope this helps. John.
