Set it to 200F Bake for about half an hour

I used a BFH & steel bar to drive mine on. Just strike it on the hand crank lugs so you don't damage the balancer.

The problem is trying to figure out when it is home. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 1,028 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 1,028 | I;m with Scott. I did mine at 200 for 15 minutes, then knocked it on with a mallet.
It probably gets close to that hot once the motor is shut off after a long drive.
I was worried more about damaging a crank seal pounding it on even though I know guys do it all the time.
I lined mine up with the other pulleys to know when it was in the right spot. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 56 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 56 | I'm with Scott too. It can handle 200 degrees and a BFH works well too. Make sure the welding gloves aren't greasy, they will heat up fast and the smoke will get in your eyes, preventing accurate installation
