I'm thinking about switching out my '63 short bed with a newer stepside bed. Is it possible to fit a '99-'06 bed on my '63? Has anyone ever done this before?

anything is possible if you are patient, I have seen 88-98 Chevy step sides on 64-66 trucks, looked wrong in my opinion, body lines were all wrong, but that could be fixed with some glass work. You should try to find a salvage yard, or buddy with one, that will let you take some measurements, sorry I don't have more to tell ya, Joe
